How to transfer stock inventory from one location to another?

My Vision Express provides the ability to move Inventory items from location to location at the touch of a button.
There are two locations in My Vision Express where transfers can be made: the modify inventory item screen and the inventory transactions screen.
Inventory Item Screen
Go to File > Inventory and then select an inventory category, such as Frames.
Select the item that you want to transfer, and then click the modify button. Once the modify inventory screen appears, click the Transfer button.
The transfer button is in the Configurations tab for Spectacle and Contact Lenses.
The specific configuration that is going to be transferred has to be selected before clicking the transfer button.
The transfer inventory screen will appear. The top section shows the locations that the user is logged into and the amount of the item in stock. The bottom section allows the user to enter the quantity to transfer to other locations.
Note:The quantity to transfer cannot exceed the quantity in stock.
After you have entered the quantity to transfer, click OK.
Inventory Transactions Screen
Go to File > Inventory > Transactions > Inventory Transactions. There are two tabs in the inventory transactions screen: Scan and Manual. The scan tab allows the user to enter a quantity and then scan the item, or enter UPCs individually. The manual tab allows the user to select an item type, filter the results, and enter quantities to transfer for the rows. If a row has a transfer amount that is blank or it is less than 1, then it will not be considered in the transfer.
In the scan tab, select the source location, select the ‘Transfer’ transaction, and then select the destination location. The destination location in the screenshot below will only appear after you select ‘Transfer’ in the transaction field. Enter a quantity and then scan the items you wish to transfer. The items will be added to the list. The Qty column is the number to be transferred and can be modified after the item is added to the list.
Note: If you enter a quantity that is higher than the amount in stock it will raise an error and not add the item to the list.
After you have added all items to be transferred, click the Update On-Hand button.
In the manual tab, select the source location, select the ‘Transfer’ transaction, and then select the destination location. The destination location in the screenshot below will only appear after you select ‘Transfer’ in the transaction field. Select the item type of the items that need to be transferred. If the item type is frames or contact lens, then you can then filter by manufacturer. If you select a manufacturer, then you can also filter by collection or lens name. Set the quantity to transfer in the Counted column. After you are finished, click the Update On-Hand button.
